Pasar Sindhu Night Market is the main fresh market within the Sanur village area. Locals call it Pasar Tradisional Desa Sanur, though travelers usually know it better as the Sindu Night Market. The market is near the northern end of Sanur’s Jalan Danau Tamblingan road. You’ll find a bustling street-food vendor scene, with stalls opening after sundown. This night market is famous as a culinary paradise on the Island of the Gods. In the morning, this traditional market selling various kinds of cooking needs such as meat, vegetables, herbs and tools used for traditional ceremonies in Bali. Even though it’s called a traditional market, this Sindhu market is very clean and modern. There are about 150 stalls that stand neatly.
So I went to this Sindu night market, one of the places I had to visit on my Southeast Asia trip.
I headed for the night market recommended by the hotel.

Located on a vacant lot and is a typical Southeast Asian night market.

There are restaurants that sell traditional Indonesian food in one corner of the market, and the prices are also relatively low.

There are stalls like this inside.

There are Balinese fries and donuts are also sold like this.

Also, there are lots of foreigners people who come for local foods or just strolling around.

Satay, one of my favorite foods in Indonesia, has a nice aroma and the aroma of charcoal always captivates me. For chicken satay priced at Rp. 20,000 for one serving with the contents of 20 sticks. And for the price of curry Goat is usually priced at Rp. 10,000 per serving.

I decided to drink fruit juice and look at the menu. I chose mango and banana.

Seller put it in a large plastic cup and in a small plastic cup. The price is Rp. 15,000.

There is a variety of foods on the menu. I have chosen Nasi Campur.

‘Nasi’ means ‘rice’, ‘Campur’ means ‘mixed’.
So, this is Mixed Rice, which means there are rice and various side dishes.
The price is 35,000 rupiah.

There is a Durian seller.

When I bought, the Durian seller cut it off and packed it. I bought the biggest durian, and the price is Rp 100,000 rupiah.

Opened at 18:00 until WITA, Sanur Night Market sells a variety of foods with local flavors. There are at least 30 places to eat in the market area. The night the market conditions increasingly crowded with the arrival of customers who want to buy the food they want.

The existence of this night market becomes an alternative when you are confused about spending time at night on the Island of the Gods. Especially if you are bored with the atmosphere of the cafe. Visiting the Sanur Night Market can be an interesting and not boring choice.
